I finally got my commando ke 30  keyless entry wired and working thanks to everyone for there help. One thing I was wondering bout  is there anyway to decearse the amount of time the park lights stay on after you unlock the doors. It stays on 30 sec when you unlock and 15 secounds when you lock it . Wanted to decrease the 30 time down to maybe 15 secounds like when you lock the car . Thanks for everyones help in getting this up and running .       high- d

I've never worked with a Commando, but I've seen this feature you describe on the David Levy (Black Widow) products. Most units only flash the parking lights when operating the locks---it is a rare feature that the lights are kept on for a period of time.
You could probably buy a pulse timer and do something with it. DEI (www.directed.com) makes one under the part number 611T. The pulse timer will take any type of input you want, and make any length of output you want. Have your Commando unit activate the pulse timer, and have the pulse timer power up the parking lights...set the timer for 15 seconds (or whatever duration you desire).
Of if you don't want any parking light duration at all, but just a simple one-second flash, that could be accomplished a little more cheaply; with a pair of diodes and one relay.
Disconnect the Commando's parking light output altogether. Attach a diode to your unit's negative Lock output, and another to its Unlock output. Connect the other ends of the diodes to terminal 86 of a relay. Connect 87 and 85 to fused, constant positive. Connect 30 to your car's parking light wire. Now the parking lights will only pulse for one second each time you lock or unlock.
