I am wanting to get an Alarm System with Remote Start for my 2002 Trailblazer LS. I have the Keyless Entry system on this car as of today and whatever comes along with it.

Which is a good alarm to get and what other features should I get that would be of use.

I want to install this alarm my self if possible. I am hoping this Forum will help me in doing so.

Is there a wiring diargram for my car on here?

I suggest a 2 way system and also if you are installing this yourself, I HIGHLY suggest the PLDATA and GMDL1 . Here is the wiring datsheet for this vehicle:

| 12V|red (x2) |+ |ignition harness |

Notes:

NOTE: This vehicle has the passlock II immobilizer system that, when adding a remote start, must be interfaced with. PLDATA and GMDL1 .*1 The liftgate glass ajar switch wire is purple. It is also located at the liftgate module in the liftgate. *2 The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on the driver side of the motor.

Try www.thebettersource.com the PLDATA is only $36 on that site, compared to $55 on velocitymotors website. Over 20 dollars cheaper for the same product!!!!!

Is the 2 Way really good to spend the extra money because they only reach to about 1,000 feet. and usually I am further than that from my car and so that display wont help me very much because I wont know that the alarm is going off or not if i am further than 1000 feet right?

I am going to get an Alarm with Remote Start, Keyless Entry. What are the "EXTRAS" that i have to have to by pass everything that I need to by pass.

I am going to be putting Window Modules in mine also. Which are the best for this?

Any other "Fancy" things to add to an Alarm and whatnot?
