I have searched through the forum on the 2k2 Maxima Wiring Diagram and have come across 2 different wiring schemes.

I have also heard the wiring diagram that DEI has is wrong. Can anyone who has installed on a 2002 Maxima shed some light on the correct wiring diagram? Thanks.

What you will need to do is find the common wires between the two diagrams and use your DMM to verify all connections made. This is the only way you will be able to get a 100 % verified wiring information for this particular vehicle.

i just did one of these cars last week.  Was pretty easy except that the lock wires are in the door at the door module so you have to run wires through the door jam.  Also, there is a transponder in the key as well.

If you want to avoid running wires into the door, you can 5-wire your locks at the keyless module right of steering column.  Only drawback is that this will lock all doors but only unlock the drivers door.  Then you would only have to run one wire into the driver door for the all doors unlock wire, which is what I did.  This also gives you progressive door locks.  Good luck.
