OK i am almost finished installing my alarm, i just hooked up the shock sensor, armed the alarm, and waited 10min, then decided to tap the shock sensor to make sure its working, well turned the sensitivity up as far as it goes and i still get nothing, i noticed there two leds on the shock sensor, neither one is lit, I also devide to test the black and red wire going to the shock sensor, with a voltmeter.

When alarm is armed i checked to see if a constant 12volt was coming from the red wire going to the shock sensor and im gettin nothing. could brain be busted, i didn't hook anything incorrectly i have used a voltmeter the entire way and check everything twice to make sure i have not hooked anything up wrong.

I have an autopage rf-305 with the simple plugin dual shock sensor.

if you drop those cheap autopage sensor they tend to break. I've installed many autopage, all models. I've only had a problem with one or two sensors. So yeah they're sensitive. gotta be careful

also on that 305 ,when you disarm the system the parking lights stay on for a while, make sure you turn that feature off otherwise, in time, the relay get stucked and it'll drain your battery because the parking lights will stay on all the time. It's a factory defect probably they used 1 dollar relays.

it might be broken, just apply 12v to the leads. check the warranty on the product and if you can't do anything I have tons of sensors just sitting around ready for the trash can I can send you one just pay shipping.
