Hi everybody,

I'm trying to hookup remote door locks to my '97 Acura Integra GSR manual.   I can NOT locate the wires for the lock/unlock, the colors nor what warness they are in.

I must have spend 8 hours checking every single wire I could lay my hands on and I still came up short...

Does anyone know the colors and what harness these wires are?????

Thanks!!!!!!!

ok these wires are located in either kick panel the colors are BLACK/ red=power unlock and BLACK/ white=power lock, note that this systen is a negative door locking system so one of these wires will pulse a negative on lock and the other will pulse a negative on unlock so you can just use the out pits from your alarm as long as they are a negative output.'97 Acura Integra Door Locks... -- posted image.

I dont know exactly the harness you will find these wires in but look for the colors i posted and see if they are going into the door if so check them with your (dmm) to make sure these wires are corect. You should find them in the kick panel area of the car.'97 Acura Integra Door Locks... -- posted image.

If the wires dissapear in the back of the fuse panel , what you can do is start unplugging the plugs that you think are the door lock/unlock plug and test the switch after each time you unplug a harness until you find the harness, then look for the colors after you find the plug.

Hey   TheRapture,

You'll find the lock/unlock wires in the larger of two attached gray plugs in the lower kick near the firewall.  If equipped with cruise control, the plugs are behind the module.  To access, remove the lower bolt on the bracket holding the module and pull it up out of the way.  The lock wires test only with the passenger lock and unlock switch.
