PD-175 or Viper 790XV

I just bought both the Phoenix Digital 175 and Viper Responder 790xv. Now I need to figure out which to install.The only difference I can find between the two are PD-175 has time display on remote and a longer range. I can't find anything about it having the code hopping technology like the Viper.Other than that I can't really find anything else about the two. I like the PD-175 remote better, especially with the time display and flip cover. I don't like that the air/heat will only run for 10 minutes from remote starting. It gets too cold here in Ohio.

The guys I took it to said the Viper was the best one there was, but they also said it was made by "DIT" but I didn't correct them...

So what do you think? I haven't found anything posted about the Phoenix Digital, anyone else ever try it?

There's also quite a few features I read about in the manual that it doesn't say on the site such as vibrate mode for the remote. Plus phoenix digital comes with 2 remotes, which is nice considering the Viper remotes cost like $90 if I lose or break it.

Installation will cost the same for both, hmm...

I think the cover would be helpful for me. The viper doesn't have any kind of button lock that I've seen. Every time I forget to lock my cell phone before throwing it in my purse I pull it out to find that it has called like 5 people

Anyway, nobody seems to have any experience with the PD alarm. What about their other products? I don't want to pay $300 for installation and then change my mind.
