Okay this is a weird question but I tried calling dei and they were a bunch of dicks and said that they couldn't help me without a part number.  Anyway, I'm looking into getting a second remote for my Matrix RS3 alarm and I noticed the new RSX3.5 alarm remotes are better looking, and since I am looking to get another remote, I was wonder would the RSX3.5 remote be able to control the RS3 alarm, or am I just wasting my time?  Also if anyone has part numbers for both the remote and my alarm that would be great.

Thanks,

Ken

479C, it will work fine. The 478C (your current remote) is no longer being made. The 479C was recently released and probably in short supply and most dealers probably don't even have extras yet.

Thanks, I'll look into getting one ordered from DEI, are those numbers listed the part numbers?

Yes, those are part numbers. I work for a Python dealer, and the remote numbers end in a "P". I'm not 100% positive, but I think the Clifford version ends in "C".
