Hi all -

I've got a 2002 Prizm that I just installed a Clifford Intellipage into (recently removed from a 99 Tahoe).  About half the time I try to remote start, it continues to crank the starter after the engine has started.  I assume this means that I'm not getting a good tach signal.  I've connected the tach sense lead to the YELLOW /GREEN wire on the #2 coil (using the information on this board).

Is there another place I should try to get a good tach signal from?  Are there any common problems I should be looking for?

Thanks,

Dave

just a reminder to check if you successfully program the tach b4 you RS.
another place to find the tach would be at the igniters. grab the unique wire.

i do not at all condone running anything tachless, but the prizm cranks really slow, so you can get away with doing it tachless. my girlfriends is tachless and it lets go fine no overcrank.

Thanks everyone!  Running off an injector pulse seemed to do the trick.

Thanks Again!

Dave
