I've got a 2002 Sonata that has a factory alarm system.
When the alarm is armed or disarmed, the parking lights
flash but the horn does not sound. I'd like to have an audible signal from the horn. Anyone know enough about the alarm wiring and horn relay to help?
Thanks.

Man, some people just love that factory alarm don't they! LOL
Here's a way that should work for ya. A 2000 says the lights are (+) and horn is (-). If this is different post here so I can correct.
Note. There are 2 problems with this
1st - the left relay will be energized whenever the ign is on (car running). Not a big deal but..
2nd - the horn will sound if the headlight are on and you turn the car off. Just keep in mind that if the parking lights are on and the car is NOT running the horn will be on constant! Basically it will be just like the factory chime but louder.
PLEASE NOTE: If the cars parking lights stay on after you pull the keys out for a time set by the factory (illuminated entry like in Jeeps) then this will NOT work. If the lights DO NOT stay on (like most cars) then it will be fine.
Good Luck
