Hey guys..A buddy of mine has an older camaro (1996) that he wants power locks in. Any of you guys ever added actuators on a 1996 or close to it camaro? Little before my time and somehow I've never worked on a camaro for anything now that I think about it. Anyway just looking for some tips on mounting the actuators etc, if there's room, or if it's gonna be a pain..Thanks for any info.

On those cars, there is a beautiful location.  When the doorpannel is removed, locate the bar leading to the locks and you will notice that clolse to the end of the door there is hole just made for those cars.  use a backstrap and face the actuator inside and it will work like a charm.
