I am installing a viper 550 esp built in remote start, can anyone tell me where do i hook up the wire too for the neutral safety switch. does every wire need to be hooked up for this remote starter to work. one more question; does anyone know the wiring diagram to bypass the pk3 system??? Thanks a bunch.... Greg

Dude, the neutrarl saftey switch wire goes to the switch, or if your not putting the switch in, goes to ground.

AAnd to bypass the pk3, you need a pkg5 or 555u and a key or some other pk3 bypass.

Dude, I know the neutral safety wire goes to the switch, to which color on the switch on my grand prix!

Yeah and I do have a dei 555g bypass kit where do the  wires to what colors in my car....example,

  • Key sense
  • ecm side
  • key side
  • fuel enable

You know the little toggle switch that comes in the box? That is the switch Justaguy is referring to. Connect one wire on the switch to the BLACK/ white from the 550, and the other to ground. When the switch is "on", the remote starter will work. When its off, it won't work. The switch only effects the remote starter, not the alarm.
As far as the 555G goes, do you not have the instructions? I haven't done one since last winter, so I don't remember them off hand. The wires are in a harness that leads to the key cylinder. If your key is near the stearing wheel, remove the black plastic shroud that goes around the column. If the key is next to the radio, good luck. They are a little more harder to get at there.
