Have to install a remote car starter, alarm in a 1999 4 Runner. Was hoping that someone can point me in the right direction of a diagram, explanation. Good with electronics, want to do it myself. any help would be nice...

I just did my landcruiser (basically same wiring diagram)  I'm at work right now but would like to help you when I get the chance.  I have run into one issue that i need to work out and will be starting a seperate discussion on that.

first, you have to get started and post any problem you run into. i dont think anyone can point out the directions. you can also search for the car model and it may point out some future problem you may run into. its not so hard. you might run into the unlock problem, i think it has the child safety lock?
good luck!!
