hey, i installed a crimestoper rs-900 in my 2001 ford focus zx3 a couple of months ago. it has been working perfectly, except for whats been hapening the last 2 weeks. one morning last week i started it up with the remote and heard a wierd noise. i look out the window and see the parking lights are still off, but the engine was cranking, about 30 secs later it stops cranking. keep in mind the engine was already started. so basically it started it for like 30 secs when it only needed about 1 or 2. well it didnt do it at all the rest of the day except for in the morning. it worked fine again until this morning, when it did the same overcranking. i tried to hit the start button on the remote to kill it so it didnt destroy my starter, but the unit wouldnt respond. i had to actually go outside and hit the brakes to make it stop cranking. anyone have any idea on whats going on?   both times it happened in the morning when it was really cold (about 20 or so).   i checked my tach wire and it was fine. i hope it doesnt do this every morning....

this year we have been having that problem on some cars and a focus was one of them we corrected this problem by going to a fuel injector wire instead of tach, and then relearn tach.
