We are working on a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix.  The car is supercharged.  It has the electronic display in the dash that indicates when a door is open.  It will display any one of the four doors.  It has the delay fade off dome light.  Where is the most convenient place in this car to pick up a door trigger?  Is there a whre from the electronic display to the dome light that I can use as a trigger?  Any help is greatly appreciated!

Use the white wire at any interior light, make sure you diode isolate the wire or you'll encounter problems, gray stripe on diode towards alarm.

Dome Light TAN (DR) & D BLUE (ALL OTHER DOORS) (-) AT BCM **
** TAN (-) Wire Covers Driver Door Only, D BLUE (-) Covers All Other Doors. Diode Isolation Needed, Cathode (Band) Side Of Diode Faces OEM Wires. *** Body Control Module (BCM) Located Behind Driver Dash To Left Of Steering Column.
Good Luck
