Did you find what you are looking for? Do you mean you want the installation guide or the wire information for the Grand Am?

I have not found what I need, I went to a local dealership and they told me it is the white wire on the top of the motor, but I have tried that wire and when I try using the astrostart it turns over, but does not start, then I get an error code for no tach input.

Hmmm, so I am guessing you are looking for the tach wire.
You need to test the wire before hooking up to it. It should read between 1 and 6 volts AC and increase when the gas is pressed. If you have a 3.1 L engine try a PURPLE / white wire.
It sounds like the problem is not the tach wire though, since the car would start regardless of whether or not the AstroStart saw the tach signal. the tach is just used to tell the unit when to disengage the starter. So your problem could be the passlock bypass. What bypass method did you use? Take a look at the security light on the dash during a remote start attempt. If it flashes then you have a problem there. You might still have a problem though even if it doesn't flash.
