I waht to put a keyless system on my truck but i dont know a thing about it. i dont evern know if i got postive door locks. any help on how to get the system and how to install in my truck?

ok i think i understand the color coding, but who can i get the system from and step by step instructions on how it goes int to my truck.

Most systems out on the market have detailed instruction included for the DIY'er . Follow the instructions and match the wire characteristics to the wires on the car and your set.

Go to your local Stereo Shop or Electronics store and get one there. You can go to eBay but be warned about possible frauds and the possibility of warranty of the unit  is higher so it will be more hasssle to send it away than to go down to the local store and drop it off. Weigh out the options and see what you want. Good brands to consider is DEI, Prestige, Ungo ( Clarion ) and Direct Start.
