It mentions to connect the 530T to the orange armed wire I need to install a diode inbetween, could someone tell me the right way to connect the diode and where I could get one? Thanks This is going on a 1996 Chevy Tahoe by the way. I have just installed the alarm and it works great, just not sure about the window module, thanks!

look at the top left of this screen and you will see diodes right under basics. it will tell you how they operate.....

Cut the orange wire. Join together the alarm' wire and the 530's wire. Put a butt connector on the starter kill's side of the wire and then put the diode(band side facing away from the starter kill) into the other end of the butt connector and crimp. Then crimp a butt connector to the other side of the diode. Then crimp the two orange wires coming from the 530 and alarm to the other end of the butt connector. Sorry if this sounds weird but the ambien is kicking in.
