My first post and new to the site but I just had the Clifford Matrix 2.5X 2-Way Security System with Responder Technology installed on my 03 cobra and as I was leaveing I noticed that a large peice was broken tords the middle of the radio cover and is about a inch long. Radio works fine, but I was wondering why after an alarm install a peice of my radio cover would be broken? THey should'nt have done anything with the radio at all. Maybe they were working on somthing and hit the radio on accident but I really don't know what to do because they claim they did'nt do it even though I know they did. I have pics and just detailed my car I would notice if a large peice was missing from the radio. Not shure if I can just get a new cover or what for it but I am still very mad about the whole thing. I have to look around on the install on this site to see if he did a good job. What should I do!!!!So if someone could tell me why it would be broken or why they would even be near the radio that would be great. Thanks for any info and sorry for so long.

did they fill out a checkin paper detailing the operation and interior/exterior condition of your car? if they did and the paper doesnt state specifically that there was damage around the radio show it to them and have them pay for it or file a claim.

It sounds like a possible install mistake, I would try to see if maybe they tryed to hide the alarm brain up in the area behind the radio, or if there are any of the alarm wires running up towards that area as well.  If so, you would know that they were behind the radio.. Who did the install?

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
