I've got a 1990 Toyota Celica GT Liftback, and when I open either one of my doors, my dome light doesn't turn on.  But, when I open my trunk all the dome lights turn on just fine.  I think there might be a wire disconnected or something, from the doors.  I need to get the doors connected to the light, so I can install my new alarm system.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks to anybody that posts any help for me.

Are your pin switches corroded. The wire should test 12 volt + when door is closed and should ground out when door is opened.

I have absolutely no idea.  The only thing that I know anything about in cars is the stereo system.  I dont have any clue what to look for when I have a lighting problem.  What's a pin switch?  Where would it be located at?
