I installed a CrimeStopper 999 RS in November and it worked fine up until a week ago.  My wife has the same starter and the batteries in her remote died.  I gave my wife the batteries from my remote (which worked in my remote and hers).  Unfortunately, when I put brand new batteries in my remote the starter stopped working.  I even tried putting the old batteries back in my remote and it still doesn't work.  My additional remote doesn't work either. Basically, nothing works on either of my remotes - locks, etc. - not just the remote starting feature. I also tired to "relearn" the remotes and the unit goes through all the programming features, but when I push the button on the remote it doesn't do anything.  I am stumped.  Does anyone have any ideas??? I would really appreciate any advice that anyone can give.

im sure you have tried this already...replace with new batteries.........some transmitters use the code jumping feature....if you press the button on a transmitter and your not clse enough to the alarm, the code in the transmitter will advance but not the one in the alarm....try standing next to the car pushing the button several times...you might be able to sync the two back together...
Good Luck

I have discovered that everything will work if it is very warm inside my car. I have been unable to talk to anyone at Crimestopper. I can just leave a message there. Does anyone know how to handle warranty issues?
