I'm looking for an install manual for an Alpine 8048 alarm.  I have the wiring diagram for the alarm but would like to see a install manual if there is one. 

If anyone has any experience installing this alarm in a 95 Toyota Camry, I'd take any pointers!

if it helps any, which i don't think it will, i have the manual for the 8028. I dont know how similar they are but this is a message board that is supposed to help people out and that's what i am trying to do :)

Hey   mike5133......... What do you need to know about the installation ?? The wiring diagram is all you need for the alarm. Here's the wiring diagram for the vehicle:

Notes:

*1 Not required for remote start.  *2 On the 4 cylinder motor the black wire is at the check connector located on the rear side of the passenger strut tower.  On the 6 cylinder the black wire is at the ignitor located on the drivers side strut tower.  *3 In a white connector just below the fuses with the wires exiting out toward you.    *4 Remove black plastic air duct covering the top right side of the fuse box to access a 6 pin plug containing the RED / white.   *5 Tied in with the door trigger on the wagon models.

Velocity Motors thanks for the info.  It gives me more detailed info than I had already.
