-when intergrating my jeyless entry with the factory alarm i ake the lock wire and diode it from the lock wire in the car  and the factory arm wire  and same with the unlock/ and disarm will it keep the factory alarm working and the factory led working?

-when using the door trigger wire for neg trigger on the alarm and also to connect the dome light wire i dont have to diode isolate them right?

-i dont have ti hook up the tach wire right. i can program it for the no tach in this car and it will; work fine??

- i know some nissans have 2nd ignition wire that has to be energized for the remote start does this car need thaht?

and finally i have the DEI immbobalyzer 555u bypass has anyone done this install with it  and worked easally with no problems. it says there are 2 ways to do it.the normal way wit hthe ring. and another way with cutting the ring off and splicing in to the immobalyzer it self. which is the way to  do it??

i know theres alot of questions but any help would be great

aslo anything that you know that i leeft out would be helpful( i already have the wire codes) especially any tips, trick or short cuts

  • No need to diode isolate the lock/unlock wires from the OEM alarm to the aftermarket keyless entry. The Infinity has a (-) trigger system so no relays are needed. The only thing you need to do is the unlock requires a double pulse from the aftermarket keyless entry in order for the doors to unlock.

-when using the door trigger wire for neg trigger on the alarm and also to connect the dome light wire i dont have to diode isolate them right?

  • Find RED / white for drivers door and RED / blue for the passengers door.  Use both wires and diode isolate each.

-i dont have ti hook up the tach wire right. i can program it for the no tach in this car and it will; work fine??

  • I usually don't use the TACHLESS feature because most of the time it doesn't work properly. Best to use the tach wire for trouble free installations. Locate the tach wire at the ECM in the center console or in a white 18-pin connecter located just in front of the shifter.  The plugs for the ECM are accessed from the passengers side of the center console.    blue or blu/orn

- i know some nissans have 2nd ignition wire that has to be energized for the remote start does this car need thaht?

  • Oh yah !! You got both a second ignition and a second starter to contend with. Here's the colors:
    • STARTER..................................BLACK/ white
      SECOND STARTER................WHITE/ green
      GNITION....................................WHITE/ red
      SECOND IGNITION.................WHITE/ purple

  • I usually use the ring bypass or the 24 gauge wire method where you wrap the wire/ring around the cylinder column to introduce the chip signal to the module.

  • The OEM security system needs to be bypassed for remote start. You need to use the unlock wire with a single pulse to disarm without unlocking.

Wire a relay like this:

  • 87 & 85 : 12 Volts constant
  • 86 : GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING wire from RS unit
  • 30 : Ignition # 2 wire on vehicle

Some RS units has a 2 nd ignition wire instead of a GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING wire that you can use as well. Just read the instruction on the RS install manual and it will explain wether or not a relay is required for that 2 ignition wire.

You can piggy back the primary starter wire to split a wire off and attach to the 2nd starter. Not a big deal if you do this.
