Hey All,

I've been working on my car for about 3 days now trying to get the remote starter to work on my Crimestopper CS-2011RS unit and it just won't work. I have all the wire hooked up properly and the unit has been set to learn the tach and the tach mode confirmed the tach setting, however when I try to start the engine just keeps turning over and wont stay engaged. I talked with Jeff from Velocity Motorsports and he confirmed all my wiring and we tried multiple settings with relays for the Ign2 wires and Acc wires and nothign would work. If anyone has ever encountered this problem and fixed it please help me!

I'm working on a 1993 Chevy Lumina Euro 4D Sedan and to my knowledge and Jeff's it dos not have a Passlock or VAT system. Please help!

Have you looked at the shaft of the ignition key to verify that it doesn't have a VATS pellet?

Try to place the car in "pit stop" mode----that is, you start the car with the key, then activate the remote starter, wait a couple of seconds for it to kick in, and remove the key----does it stay running?  If it does, you know you at least have the main ignition wire and the tach connection correct.

Insert the key, turn it to Run, and then attempt to operate the remote start....if it works now, you've missed one of the ignition wires during install, or you have VATS.

sometimes vehicles crank a little harder....i had this problem with a newer full size chevy...try stepping on the gas a little bit and re-learn your tach wire while doing that...just a thought and good luck
Always use your meter:)
