If any one can assits, I would appreaciate it. I have two and a half  issues, only one I really need answered. I have a 369D DEI remote start/keyless entry.

The main issue is the directions state that type A door locks do not need the module (435M  or something like that), I am pretty sure the truck is type A, if I put +12 V to the wires it locks and unlocks, but if I try to hook up the wires per the instructions it does nothing! and I tried to read the directions and it says it does both + and - (how?) but I am lost.

Secondly is I looked at four sites and they all give a difference in the wiring? accordingy to 12Volt diagram it has passlock II, I found an orange sleeve with two white wires?

Anyway, if anyone can shed some light I would be greatful.

The locks on your vehicle are (+).  You don't need the 435M.  You need to connect the blue wire to your lock and the green wire to the unlock.  These wires are in the small 3 pin connector of your alarm.
Do it right the first time

for sure its PL2. the wires you found are not the PL2 wires. go right to the IGN switch to find them ( depending on your bypass), coming out of the switch in a different spot than the rest..

451M.  and no you dont need it, unless its not driving the locks.  sometimes the lock wires cant drive + alone.  ive seen it on some chevys and fords.  basicall the 451M does the same thing as the lock wires, it just uses them as triggers to drive a stronger circuit.  the truck has passlock II and you need the 555L.  the orange tubing may also be black or grey.  but there will be tiny wires in sweet.

this is a very easy truck to do, try not to over think it.

Thanks guys,

I will pick up the 555L tonight. The wires that I thought were for the P/L II come from the key cylinder and have an orange plastic coating on it. I unplugged it and the vehicle still started and no security light came on, so I will probe around and see what else I can find (I will leave the yellow SRS alone). The remote start will not run, starts and then stalls, so off to CC I go.
