Remote Start in 1998 BMW 528i

I am installing an Alpine alarm and DEI Remote start module in a 1998 BMW 528i.  Everything works as normal except for when the alarm is armed.  When the alarm arms it activates the factory security as well.  When activating the remote start the factory alarm is set off as soon as the ignition powers up.  There is no factory disarm, other than door unlock, that I am aware of.  I have done the EWS bypass and this allows the car to start as long as the doors are unlocked (factory security off).  I am sending 12V to all four Green wires (DEI page that I had only said there were 3) using the ignition, second ignition, and then 2 relays driving the other two ignitions from the third ignition wire on the DEI module.  I am also powering the accessory wire with the correct DEI wire.

Should I only be powering one or two of the greens? Or, is there a way to bypass the factory alarm during remote start?  Any help is appreciated.  FYI, I am a former installer and do not have access to current DEI tech support.

Thanks raydawg357.  This is actually the information I already had.  I did some further checking and discovered the problem.  The problem is I hooked up the DEI remote start accessory wire to the second ignition (purple) wire.  This wire actually has voltage while cranking just like all of the greens.  When the remote start is activated it powers up its accessory wire then removes voltage while cranking.  This makes the BMW think that the key was put in, turned, then turned off.  This activates the interior lights which sets of the alarm.  To solve it I used several relays to supply 12 volts while cranking to all of the greens and the purple.

The problem now is when you activate the remote start the factory alarm sounds for a second then disarms.  Luckily it doesn't unlock the doors.  I will probably just pull the fuse for the factory security, unless it has any other effects, and/or hook up the factory siren to the alarming out wire of the alpine alarm.  This way at least the siren won't sound during a remote start.

Again, thanks for the info.  Now off to find the factory siren and brain.
