I need diodes for following things:
1) Connecting 2 sensors to one trigger input.
2) Connecting 2 door triggers to one door trigger input.
3) Connecting 2 door lock wires to one door lock wire of the alarm.
4) Same as 3, but this time the door unlock wires.
Which diodes do I need for all this? 1 amp or more?
And I also have a question whether I need diodes for following things:
A) Connecting a negative output from alarm to bypass module, and same output to a clutch bypass relay to remotely start my car.
B) Connecting a tilt sensor negative input to a starter kill negative output on the alarm. The starter kill wire also goes to the starter kill relay.
Should I diode isolate these wires? If yes, how many amps?

You will require a 1N4001 diode, it is rated for one ampere continous and has a working voltage of 50 volts.

Thanks. I looked at Radio Shack website and they have two kinds of 1N4001 diodes. One of them has a "s" on the end and is called a "rectifier diode". The normal one is a "micro diode". The thing is the "micro diode" are more expensive, so I wonder if I can use the 1N4001s instead? Here is the link...

Purchase the 1N4004s, there is 25 in a pack, for only $3.99
Whereas, the other only has 2 inside for a $1.99. You obviously will use alot more than two. Bare in mind that the 25 pack only includes 10 of the 1N4004 diodes.
Both of them have the same current capacity, but the 1N4004 has a higher working voltage of 400 volts.
