I have a 1992 4runner which had an alarm on it before, then I bought a xplore xr-7025 to install myself.  I tried connecting the old wires to the new alarm such as the door lock and unlock wires, but it doesnt seem to work.  It was working fine on the old alarm.  I am also having trouble finding the blinker wire locations, which hand brake wire to use, and the foot brake wire.  I am not sure what kind of out put the handbrake wire is supposed to put out so im not sure which one it is.  I have all these wiring information but they seem to contradict each other.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you very much.

The onboard relays of the alarms (if the have them)  might be different.  One alarm may not have needed relays while the other will need them.
Do it right the first time
