Hi there,

I am getting ready to install an alarm system on my car and the system includes a windows roll-up module. When I looked at the diagram shown on the module itself, it shows :

PINK wire = to accessories
GREEN wire = left motor
WHITE wire = left switch
ORANGE wire = 500mA activation
BLACK wire = ground
RED wire = +12V
BLUE wire = right motor
BROWN wire = right switch
The questions I have are:
1)what does "accessory item" mean? Does it refer to the accessory wire coming from the ignition switch? I did find an auxiliary output from the alarm showing 500mA and I fgured that is going to be connected withe the ORANGE / ACTIVATION wire from the window module. I would like to add that the alarm does have another accessory output that I have to connect to the accessory wire coming from the ignition switch  that supplies power to the heater/AC, should I connect the PINK wire fromthe window module to this one also?

2)can this module handle 4 windows? On the diagram shown above there are only 2 motors listed and the car has actually 4(4 windows) . Can I group the front ones together and control them with the GREEN and WHITE wire , while grouping the rear windows together and control them using the BLUE and BROWN wires? My first thought is that if I do it this way, I will not be able to control the windows with the factory switch, individually. Instead I will be controlling 2 windows at the same time (either front ones , or rear ones). Do I need 2 modules like this in order to be able to control 4 windows? If not, how do I do it?

Thanks in advance,
Lee

When you install this module you have to cut the starter interupt wire and put the orange wire to the alarm side and the pink wire to the relay side. This unit CAN NOT operate 4 windows
