Mount the sensor on any metal surface you can get close to that is part of the frame or sub frame of the car. Here is some information that I have on a 8027 system  ( generally the same as the 8025, 8026 and 8026a ):

  • 1 - Neg Door ( off ) / Pos. Door ( ON )
  • 2 - Manual ( off ) / Auto (ON )
  • 3 - 1 sec. Pulse ( off ) / 3 sec. Pulse ( ON )
  • 4 - Chirp (  ON/OFF )
