Most systems are comparable when it comes to the wiring... it just dependson the car it's going into. What's the car that you have ?

I have installed Audiovox before and it's quite simple, but the DEI brands ( I have not installed ) seem to have a large following. In the end make sure that it has all the options and features that you want in a system and make your decision from that. If DEI has the instructions included and you want to do it yourself... go for the DEI as long as it has all the options you want.

Im an installer here in ala. and I am very familiar with Ungo alarms. They are very easy in my opinion to install Esp to beginners. I have briefly worked with dei products also. I own an Avital( division of Clifford) on both of my personal vehicals and they seem more difficult at first because of so much more wiring. I am accually going to install a Clifford matrix rs2 on a 95 Chevy Impalla tomarrow morning so I wiil keep you posted tomarrow on how it goes.

Three things----First- lots of relays were used because there were not many on board except door locks. used eight relays total. Second- very detailed instructions were given by Clifford, if I remember right a 28 page book just to install it and a 12 or so page book for owners manual. Third - this dosnt affect you and your honda buy the vats system was a major pain to over ride in that chevy. I spoke to technical 4 times trying to get it working right.

Basically to attempt this one you need to know good basics of relays and how to use them.

Any questions just let me know.

D.E.I. alarms are pretty detailed giving you different hookups for different door lock applications as well as the rest of the alarm.

The 2-way pagers (Clifford RS3) is the DEI responder. All the pagers that look the same (Viper, Python, Hornet etc.) are the exact same alarm.
