I'm trying to install a viper 550 with remote start on a 1988 Jaguar xj6. I've never worked on a jag before, so I have no clue what I'm even getting into. I need a full wiring diagram for this car, including any tech tips or other documents. Has anyone ever installed a remote start on a jag before? What all is involved? Also, is there any way I can install a power trunk release? The trunk locks and unlocks like a door and has a handle to open it like a door. Couldnt i just bypass the lock and figure out a way to hook up a solenoid to the release handle? Any and ALL help, tips, and even opinions appreciated.
