i recently installed a remote starter on my 2000 sunfire. everything works fine, but after a few days, i notice the airbag light flashes when i start it up, but goes away pretty quick.  it only flashes on start up, whether with key or remote.

anything i can do to fix that?

Being a GM product.... it will flash exactly 7 times once the car is started as it goes through it's diagnostics. All SRS equipped GM platforms do this as far as I have seen. If it's flashing for more than 7 flashes, it is usually an indicator of a problem, after which it stays on all the time.
