Hello everyone, I need some help with the power locks on a 2000 dodge caravan. The sheet that I have calls for a 1500ohm resister to lock and a 250ohm resister to unlock. Now I got the lock to work with the 1500ohm resiter but I can not get the 250ohm resister to unlock. I need to know what I'am doing wrong. if I need two relays. I would need to know how to wire them with the resisters to make this work.. I'm useing a Prestige aps636 remote starter unit.

it would help to know what brand of alarm you are using................sounds like you have the wrong resistor on the unlock wire.....

hey David, thank you for the info. as I said before the sheet that I have said a 1500 to lock and a 250 to unlock. I didn't  think that because of ohm it would make a differance, but I guess I was wrong, who knew.. thanks again and I will try this in the morning and get back at you.. angel

if you aren't using relays, use a 100ohm resistor for unlock.
