hey guys i got a 1998 pontiac sunfire that has a problem.....the interior light, the trunk light, the glovvie light and the power mirrors don't work.......all these are supposed to run through the same thing as the factory keyless entry but the keyless works fine,....we've been told that the problem is in a micam module that isn't working....does anybody have any insight into this or dealt with a problem similar?????? any help would rock....thanks...........

I believe that you are referring to the Multi Function Alarm Module. It is located in the convenience center under the driver's side dash. Check the fuses labeled INT LAMP and ALARM. They both supply power to the unit. All the affected devices do run through this module.

Factory alarm module is in the trunk, drivers side behind the carpet.
Chances are you have a blown fuse.

kronikboy is my cousin. This is my car he is referring to. Thanks for letting me know where this module is, I'll check it out in the morning. The biggest problem is I have no idea what the module is and there is not really any information about it so to replace it is kinda hard unless you deal with GM. It's not any of the fuses that're gone.     Now that I have an idea of what it is/where it is located I can look into getting a replacement from a junkyard.
