I've got a 2003 GMC sierra, 2dr that I want to put an alarm, remote start, and power door locks with keyless entry into.  I've ordered the Valet 554R alarm/remote start, a GMDL-BP, and the power door locks from a1electric.com.  Will this be all that I need to hook up the system (not including tools)?  Does anybody have a wiring diagram for this application?  What about any suggestions as to any problems I might run into and ways to avoid them?

I've mechanically inclined and I know how to use a multi-meter so I don’t foresee any issues there.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Also in the future I plan on adding power windows to the truck.  While I’ve got everything torn apart can I go ahead and pre-wire the windows?

Thanks,

Jeff

Definitely run wires now for the power windows-- getting through the boots is the biggest pain (IMHO) of adding power lock or power windows. And run 2 (or even 4) more than you think you need. It's much easier to take them out than it is to add more later...
Standard advice: take things slow. Solder your connections. Don't connect the alarm to a wire that you have not verified w/ a DMM. Don't plan to use your car that week if this is your first install. (for 2-3 days if this is less than your 4th).
