Hi, the car I am installing a remote start on has a tachometer, can I just run a wire straight to that to use tach mode? The car is a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Thanks.

Here's a link for the wiring diagram, it indicates to tag the tach wire at the ECM or at ignition module.

Thanks!

That diagram helped out a lot, got it installed and works great. Thanks again.

Well, I had at first done tachless mode.  But now I've decided to do tach mode because it's single digit temperatures here in Michigan and tachless mode isn't cutting it.  So ECM is located in the engine compartment, where's the Ignition Module located? Is that just the Coil? I've also heard you can hook the tach wire up to the Fuel Injector wire, is this true?

Use any of the injector wires that are NOT PINK in color.

Well, I used one of the injector wires, but it's not learning from that wire (yellow/black).  Guess I'll try it at the coil.

Yep, I hooked it up to the PURPLE / white wire at the coil and that worked.  Thanks for all the help.
