Pry the door sill off.  You'll see a white plastic guide, with various wires running under the driver's seat.  Running from the front of the car and going underneath the seat, GREEN / WHITE is the brake wire.  Running out from the seat and toward the rear of the car, green is parking lights, and red is door trigger..........the door trigger there is one wire that catches all the doors, including the tailgate!  It's not affected by the domelight delay either.

The BLACK / YELLOW second ignition wire powers the climate controls, and the blue/red accessory wire powers the radio.....accessory wire is not needed for remote start.

The blue/orange and blue / YELLOW power lock/unlock wires are tested by twisting the key in the driver's door lock cylinder, not by operating the pushbutton on the door.

The door unlock is two-step, not "double pulse."  The first pulse to the blue / YELLOW unlocks the driver's door only; a second pulse does all the other doors.

If you have an alarm that won't put out a double pulse, do this:  Split the alarm's unlock output with two diodes.  One goes to the unlock wire that tests off the switch on the driver's door, the other goes to the Unlock Detection wire......this is a wire that shows a ground all the time the door is unlocked..................I forget the colors of these two wires, but they're in the driver's kick coming in from the door.  Alternately, you can run a wire over to the passenger's kick...... the key-cylinder wire on that side unlocks all doors with a single pulse.

"trunk/hatch release" info should be disregarded........there's no hatch release in this car.......the tailgate simply unlocks with all of the other passenger doors.  At least this is true on all the U.S. models I've worked on.

If you're only doing a keyless or an alarm, you can get the wires you need right in the driver's kick, without having to take the dash off.  In a large plug with wires going into the driver's door, RED / white is constant, and black is ignition......but the black wire retains power unti the car door is opened............that's just fine under normal conditions, but the installer must leave the door open while he's cycling the ignition key on and off to program the alarm's settings.

So far, the handful of 2003s I've done appear to have exactly the same wiring as the 2002s.
