Last June I had a Clifford Arrow 3 installed in my 2002 Mustang v6. It appears that when select cars (Mazda Tribute, Ford F150) are unlocked/unlocked around mine, the alarm will be set off.

My installer is clueless as to the cause of this and does not know how to repair the issue. My car came with factory keyless entry. (this was not removed, it is still functional) My installer turned down the sensitivity, but it still goes off. Could the factory keyless be triggering the alarm?

Any suggestions how to solve this issue?

Can anyone point me how to remove my factory keyless entry module?

If the installer didn't diode isolate the door and trunk triggers it could false after G.E.M. module shuts down.

They missed that the first time around, since it triggered the alarm every 15 minutes. It's fixed now though.

Still no clue about the alarm going off around ford keyless units.

Don't think you want to remove or unhook Factory Unit:

RKE Module

LOCATED IN GEM MODULE BEHIND DRIVER'S DASH

Have the shop change out the Clifford unit. I have had issues with Radio Transmitting Towers doing the same thing & changing the Module worked

I tried to explain to the installers the situation earlier today. However, they're hesitant to do any work since it appears to be fine and I haven't been able to duplicate the situation in front of them. I'll see if i can get them to switch out the unit. Thanks for the the suggestions. If anyone else has any other ideas to the possible cause it would be greatly appreciated also. Clifford Arrow 3 Problems -- posted image.

Do a total recall test to determine exactly what part of the alarm is being set off, clifford units will tell you the last eight events that triggered the alarm by flashing the led in patterns. That might give you a better idea as to what to look for.
