01 aztec passkey 3 wire color

my module says that the data wire is blue as on the gran prix's but on this unit the pink ign wire  and orange power wire are there but no blue wire . however there are 2 purple wires coming from the passkey unit . any ideas which is the data wire?/

The topic say's aztec....your post says gran prix......which is it. 

Try to get your hands on an astroflex OMGMC 3  it learns the key.no factory passkey wires are needed. You do however need 2 valid keys to program it!

They are both the same. If you follow the wire to a grey plug in the dash sometimes one of them dead ends. Hook up to either wire as they both are connected together at the key end module.

The Aztec is different from the Grand Prix it should have:
Orange: Constant
Pink or White: Ignition
Black or BLACK/ White: Ground
(2) Violets: Data (Use either one)
All running together to the left of the steering column I think. Also remember to power up the brown 2nd acc wire, and you have to use negative park lights (blue (-)@ the switch) or you will get a park light failure message.
