Ok so hear's the deal. I put my 560xv in about a year ago and it was working fine up until a few months ago. I didn't do anything wrong but the battery was disconnected for about a week straight while I was on vacation. Came back and reprogramed the alarm just as I had before and no remote start. It starts with the key in the ignition but for some reason it will not remote start. I have the 555l. Should I try replacing the 555l. I've overlooked my wiring and all seems to be in place. Doubled checked every wire from the 555l and the connections are solid. The tach wire is connected and I already checked the hoodpin. Any ideas/suggestions? Or should I try replacing the 555l??

we need to know if the rs even responds to the remote, or does it try to crank and fail, or even if the ign turns on then shuts off?

When I remote start with the key in ignition, the truck starts up just fine. When I try to remote start without the key in ignition, it cranks and fail's to turn over. Sorry about the confusion and thanks for your replies. Any suggestions??
