I've got a 1996 Honda Accord (manual transmission, no security, power everything). Would like to get RS & keyless entry system, nothing fancy, but reliable and easy to set up.

I'm new to this but think I'll be able to install it myself. Could you recommend brands and models or a good FAQ/tutorial/comparison chart? Browsing online stores and reviews is very confusing as many don't say if it will work on stick shift, or if I'll need extra parts.

Thank you!

https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/detail.asp?info=alarm&year=1996&make=Honda&model=Accord&ID=17959&type=Alarm

just test the clutch wire with your testlight while you crank the ignition........most likely it shoots ground.

so all you need to do is connect the gound when running to the clutch wire

this is the product i like

Thanks! 1256M/2256M is actually the one I was looking at.

Do you know if I need any extra parts/wiring with it for the installation?

if you go with the 2250 alarm version....it does not come with a relay for the starter cut off.

but it is your choice, the system will work even if you don't put it in

you need nothing else aside from the relay.

Testing is the key
