2002 Honda Civic OEM Keyless Entry

Does anyone know how the oem keyless entry system on the 2002 honda civic works?  The oem keyless entry system provides for a "driver's door priority unlock" which unlocks the driver's door with press #1 and unlocks the rest of the doors with press #2 of the transmitter.  The complicated thing is that the receiving unit appears to output all signals through 1 wire to the multiplex unit.  I wonder if it is sending signals of varying voltages which is detected by the cpu in the multiplex unit telling it what it needs to do (lock, unlock driver's door, unlock all).  More likely, it sends a different number of pulses to the multiplex unit depending on what function is dictated by the transmitter.  Anyone know for sure?

I wanted to install an aftermarket alarm that can mimic the function of the oem system (i.e. keep the driver's door priority unlock function) utilizing the existing hardware and wiring.  I know I can do my own driver's door priority unlock using extra relays but I really don't want to cut any of those wires (as opposed to just tapping into them) because it will make the oem keyless entry system inoperable.  Any help or suggestions is appreciated.  Thanks.

first make sure you find the right wire it should test positive when unlocking

You will have to cut something but you wont kill the factory system you will just borow it for your purpose when the alarm command it

You must be experimented with testing and relays if not ask for help!

85: unlock (-) from alarm

86: fused 12 volt steady

30: unlock motor wire (door side)

87a: unlock motor wire (car side)

87: fused 12 volt steady
