i have a viper 550 hf  and since it has been getting cold out the remotes won't work in the cold weather even if your standing next to the car . i have had the alarm for like 2 years and this never happened before in the winter time . i tried relocating the antenna  and replacing the batteries in the remotes already.  any suggestions are appreciated

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

Sometimes the contacts inside the remote spreads out to far where it does not make contact with the battery inside. If you squeeze them in a little bit, it might help.

Batteries tend to loose power in the cold for some reason. If you warm the battry in your hand for a few min, it will prove this to you. Try replacing the battery.
