2004 Chevy Silverado ignition harness

2004 Chevy Silverado... Is the ignition harness actually at the key switch in the sterring column housing, or at the bottom of the dash assembly under the steering column.

Pull the bottom of the dash and the knee knocker and everything is right under the column...

It's at both locations you listed. It's best to do what Hymer said and remove the lower driver's dash cover off to access the wires.

just so you dont have to take the shroud off of the column to find the r code wire... it is the only yellow wire that goes into the same area of the big molex plug mixed in with all the heavy gauge wires
