Giordon 686 Car Alarm

Hello Guys

I bought one of these alarms over the www a week ago and have installed it using the manual and additional data provided from the seller.  It all works fine with the exception of the Alarm not armed warning and the auto door locking when key not in ignition function.  I guess both of these relate to the blue Wire. 

My car a Punto 2000 Sporting model has no door buttons to trigger the interior light (Its done with the door handle)  I tried without success to connect here and then went to a scrap yard and bought the OE door switch for an earlier model. 

After setting this it will not work simply the alarm sounds after 10 or so seconds,  Any Ideas ?  I guess the issue with the alarm not chirping to indicate that its not been set is a feature of the system not knowing the doors been opened that's why it locks the doors again unless you set the key to ACC. 

Everything else is fine and I am very happy with the features this alarm provide.

The alarm is the Auto Engine Start model

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Well I had a good look on this site and it seems its a "Feature" of the alarm,  In that when the doors are open witout the key in ignition the Hazard Indicators flash,
