Sensing ignition status in F-150 XLT 2002

Hi:

What is the best location to tap ignition status signal in F-150 XLT model year 2002. I am trying to use ignition status line to swicth of a GPS navigation system ON/Off when the vehicle is turned ON/Off using ignition key.
