I got a Mannix Alarm, with all the bells and whistles that were every made (lcd alarm by the way) and I need a very simple hook up, all i want is to lock the doors, open the doors, set the alarm and be out, there is a remote start but i dont want to enable it, there is some kind of tach on it to, but i dont want to enable it. Simple keyless entry with an alarm. On the alarm there are the obvious, power, ground, the relay thingy which i already wired, and of course ign 1 and ign2. Do i need both ignitions connected, i think ign2 is also known as accessory and i wired it to the wire that shows 12v + on the final key turn b4 the starter kicks in. Which is accessory. Is it neccessary to wire the other ignition. Also there are like 50 mroe wires that say like 500 mah output  trigger or something similar, theres like 5 of those and i don want those, then theres some thing for some features where it asks you to wire to a generator or tachometer! OMG! Plz i have already connected the power, ground, and accessory wire, what else do i need in order for jus the doors to lock and open and the alarm to set. I also connected the siren and l.e.d. , and im pretty sure i found the door trigger wire b/c the old alarm was still in there, but in the old alarm there is a 2nd rela, and this new alarm came with only 1 relay even though in the alarms diagrams it shows like 3 or 4 relays... Plz in desperate need of help very quickly as well!! Remember jus a simple keyless entry! Thanx!

what kind of car? Accy. and ing 2 are different. U would need ing 1 anyway.depending on the car the keyless entry may need resistors and/or relays.
Chief did it !

91 honda prelude si, it had an old alarm in it, so basically what i did was take old power and place it to the new module, take old ground, place it to the new module, and then there was a relay connect between one of the main wires which i believe is the accessory wire,  so i connected the green wire to the relay in place of the old accessory wire. The relay matches the relay on the alarms diagram, but the one they sent me doesnt so i decided to use that old relay.
