Searching on how the climate control function works for an alarm with remote start.

Sorry...kinda new to the forum.  Considering a remote start option to my alarm system.  Trying to understand how it controls the HVAC of the car.  Have a 05 pathfinder with electronically-controlled HVAC function.  Does it have to be turned on before the car is shutdown prior to the next remote start?  Considering a Viper or carbine system.  Will these remote start systems activate the HVAC even if it was turn off?

Thanks for any insights and responses.

I'm not aware of any that can activate it. The only vehicles I have done were mechanical heater switches so of course you had to leave the heater fan on.

Customer needs to leave it set to what they want it to do when remote started.
