I have a 95 Monte carlo. I tried adding a relay for the power trunk but have had no success. My remote starter has neg output only thus needing relays. This is how i hooked it up
85 --12 volt in...86--trunk wire...87--remote starter...30--ground
what am i doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanc

85 fused 12v +

86 ground out from remote start (pulse when you push trunk button)
87 fused 12v + input
30  trunk wire (double check to make sure it goes +12v when you push the trunk button)
