I have a clifford Intelliguard alarm in my 93 integra. Yesterday I went out ot unlock the car and nothing happened. Then I noticed the LED on the remote is stuck on. Any idea what the problem is or how I can disable the alarm so I can move the car. Also I don't know the valet code cause the alarm came with the car.

Which intelliguard do you have. they may be all the same, if you dont know your code you can do it form remote, by press channel 9 then ch 1.

is the light on the remote on all the time? Did you drop or accidently pour water on the remote? You might want to open the remote and clean it with a special cleaner they sell at fry's electronic it's in a small tube. it is for boards. this might fix your remote. if not you will need to disconnect the fuse that supply power to the alarm.

The light on the remote is stuck on. Didn't drop it or spill on it, was just in my pocket all day and then wouldn't work. I opened it up and everthing looks good no broken connections or burned up parts.

I picked up a remote on eBay that did the same thing. The seller didn't tell me it had a broken switch. Fortunately, I was able to repair it. Open the remote and check and see if all the pushbutton switches have the same click or feel. If not, you may have broken switch. If you are good with a soldering iron, pick up P/N: P8058S-ND from http://www.digikey.com and you may be able to repair it yourself.

Try the default code 2, most people don't change the code. Also which model do you have (or what does your remote look like)? Valet sequences may are different depending on the generation of IG.

The only button I could find for the valet is a two button switch mounted next to the LED. I traced the wires back and it connectes to the alarm so I assume it's the valet. I tried the default code but had no luck, maybe I'm doing it wrong. Clifford remote problems -- posted image.

These are waht both my remotes look like, I think the alrm model is a 700IQ. Both remotes appear fine when I opened them. If I can't get eitehr to work or the valet, is there a way to bypass the alarm completly, I just gotta get the car moved it's been in a Wal-Mart parking lot since Tuesday.
Thanks
